Die springs have been especially designed and manufactured for applications where great spring force is required in a limited space.
Special material properties allow a large number of spring load variations.
The springs are divided into seven (7) strength classes and colour-coded according to the strength class.

BK series (black) springs are also usable nested, in which case the spring force can be increased considerably.
Nested spring assemblies can be identified by the identifier D at the end of the product code.

Loading
For maximum spring service life, we recommend considering the following circumstances when choosing springs:

  • The spring stroke should be as short as possible.
  • The maximum compression in the table may not be exceeded, since this shortens the service life of the spring considerably.
  • The spring must be under internal or external control, especially in case of long springs.
  • Use preloaded springs to avoid harmful vibrations.
  • BK series springs are also usable nested, in which case the spring force can be increased considerably. Nested spring assemblies can be identified by the identifier D at the end of the product code.

Maximum compression = S2
